Sarasota Museum of Art's 2013 ARTmuse Program Presents Acclaimed Sculptor Patrick Dougherty

Renowned sculptor Patrick Dougherty will be in Sarasota for the Sarasota Museum of Art's 2013 “ARTmuse” program, January 7-26. Dougherty, known for his large sculptures made of twigs, trees, vines and other natural materials, will build a site-specific project on the grounds of the historic Sarasota High School, future home of the Sarasota Museum of Art/ SMOA. Viewers are invited to visit the site to see the work in progress. The building is located at 1001 S. Tamiami Trail in Sarasota.
