A Legacy of Endurance and Courage: The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising April – May 1943

This event features a performance and a symposium. The performance presents the history of the Warsaw Ghetto through Yiddish songs and texts written in the Warsaw Ghetto and by witnesses outside the Ghetto. The second part of the program, starting at 7:45 pm, will be a symposium on “Armed and Moral Resistance” featuring a screening of an excerpt from The Pianist, followed by a panel discussion. The event is co-sponsored by Boston College.
