Concert By George Winston

Winston's name is virtually synonymous with an entire genre of music - solo piano - but he says of himself, "I'm just a guy looking for a song." An American original, George Winston's return to the Firehouse is sure to be a sell-out. Plan early to attend.
His performance consists of pieces from his melodic seasonal recordings, New Orleans R&B piano, stride piano, and more, including pieces from his latest CD entitled Love Will Come - The Music of Vince Guaraldi Vol. 2. The late jazz pianist Guaraldi was best known as the music behind the Peanuts animated cartoon programs.
