Rum Rations and Revolution: Eating and Drinking with Captain Boardman

Friday, Sep 6, 2013 7:00p to 9:00p

In the late eighteenth century, Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm was the country estate of Newburyport's most famous privateer, Captain Offin Boardman. The soaring rafters and massive beams of the 1775 barn are a perfect backdrop for an evening of historic fun. Come join your friends around a rough farm table and enjoy traditional rum punch and a hearty farm dinner while listening to true tales of prison breaks, piracy, and potato farming, all from the sizzling pages of Captain Boardman's diary.
