Why should I attend a live workshop? Isn’t there enough stuff on-line?
That depends. If you drift or lose focus watching on-line courses, get incomplete or inaccurate information, or if working from the vacuum of your bedroom leaves you uninspired and unfulfilled, get off your butt and attend my Live workshop. Disrupt the inertia and see what comes your way. If anything, sitting around dozens of other like-minded people will motivate you to work harder, and the people you meet from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania may become future friends and collaborators (who you’ve actually met and looked in the eye.)
Here’s a summary of what’s in store:
10:00 am Copyright law and music publishing
11:15 Recording and radio industry / Band names and trademark law
12:15 pm Recording and Management Companies, business entity basics, accounting + taxes
2:00 The Touring Industry
3:15 Common Contracts to Consider read the fine print!
4:30 Perfect Pitch Mini – releasing and marketing your own music – the business plan
(agenda subject to change)
You may be asking: $125 for a Full Day is...INSANE. I pay my gym trainer $125 per Hour. You are absolutely right.
WHAT Else Costs $125? Running a red light. Losing your phone. One month of smoking/drinking. Two months of television. Specialized workhops led by attorneys can cost $500 to $1,000 or more per day.
