Joseph Daniels represents startup to mature public companies, private equity and venture capital funds, and investment banks in a wide range of corporate, finance, M&A and securities law matters. He has represented private companies, venture capital firms and strategic investors in over $1 billion of venture and strategic financings, and has helped companies and private equity firms handle over $5 billion of merger, acquisition, and disposition transactions. He also regularly advises companies obtaining secured lines of credit, equipment financing, and other loans. Mr. Daniels serves as outside general counsel for numerous public and private companies, assisting them with their day-to-day business transactions and other legal matters. He focuses on representing clients involved in high-growth sectors, and has experience with a broad range of industries, including biotech, cleantech, consumer, digital media, ecommerce, energy, healthcare, fintech / financial services, mobile, semiconductor, software, and telecommunications.

David co-founded BEV in 1997. Prior to BEV, David served as Vice President at Consumer Venture Partners. He also spent seven years at McKinsey & Company as a consultant. Previously, David served as President of Mexx USA, an apparel manufacturer and he acquired marketing experience at General Mills and at Federated Department Stores.
David received his BS from Tufts University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Parker Gilbert is an Angel Investor with New York Angels, and is the Managing Partner of Brand Building Ventures, based in Westchester County, New York. Brand Building Ventures, founded in September, 2004, is committed to investing in emerging consumer goods and services companies that possess unique selling propositions. Mr. Gilbert has thirteen years of classic consumer packaged goods marketing experience across a range of product categories. Over the course of his career, Mr. Gilbert has won two sales awards and one national advertising award. He has a track record for building consumer brands that deliver top and bottom line growth. Most recently, he was Vice President of Marketing on Banana Boat Suncare at Playtex Products, Inc., located in Westport, Connecticut. His experience ranges from health and beauty aids, frozen food, medical devices, suncare, baby care and household cleaning. Prior to Playtex, Mr. Gilbert held marketing positions at Pepperidge Farm and Wyeth. He received his MBA in marketing from the Stern School of Business at NYU and an undergraduate degree in history from Middlebury College in Vermont.

Nathan A. Low
Nathan has been a leading angel investor in Silicon Valley and in Israel for over 20 years, compiling an impressive track record, and assisting companies in business development to achieve strategic partnerships. ZTF is just the latest incarnation of what he has done for over 20 years – crowdfunding for Accredited Investors.
Nathan founded and serves as President of the Sunrise Financial Group, Inc, since August 1991. In 1992, Nathan founded Sunrise Securities Corp., an FINRA registered broker-dealer.
Under Nathan’s leadership, Sunrise has raised in excess of $6 billion for over 60 domestic and international public and private companies, using a variety of financing products including traditional debt and equity as well as innovative equity-related financing instruments.
Nathan began his Wall Street career with Salomon Brothers, where he helped develop some of the first mortgage backed derivative securities. Thereafter, he worked at Bear Stearns and Prudential Bache in various trading and arbitrage capacities.
Nathan was graduated cum laude from Harvard College in 1982.
Nathan serves on a variety of charitable boards for projects involving the developmentally disabled, cancer care, and education.

David was the Founder of several trailblazing companies. The most recent was WAENet.com, a social network for the publishing industry and BPWiz.biz, a publishing software which streamlines the process of writing and submitting book proposals. Previously, David founded Sell Your Stuff, the first eBay drop-off franchise in New York. Within two years of its inception, he developed the concept into a national franchise brand.
Ryan co-founded SeedInvest because he saw the need for a better way to connect entrepreneurs and investors. On the entrepreneurial side, Ryan previously founded multiple startups. On the investor side, Ryan worked at Carlson Capital, Wellspring Capital Management and Lehman Brothers in New York City where he invested in, financed and managed dozens of private and public businesses. Ryan co-founded the Crowdfunding Professional Association and currently serves as an Executive Board Member. Ryan also serves as a Leader of the Crowdfund Intermediary Regulatory Advocates group. Whenever given the chance, Ryan enjoys traveling and has been to 75 countries. Elijah Duckworth-Schachter has spent his career in the investment and strategy consulting industries. His primary focus has been in the private equity arena and his experience includes working for many years in the Private Equity and Mergers and Acquisitions Practice at Mercer Management Consulting, now Oliver Wyman, with a particular focus on investing in retail and consumer products companies. Additional past experience includes working at a mezzanine debt fund sourcing and structuring lower middle market buyouts and working as a financial analyst in the Investment Banking Division of Lehman Brothers.
Today, Elijah divides his time between managing his family's office, with a focus on direct investments in the retail industry, and acting as a principal at Point One Percent, a strategy consulting and branding firm focused on the luxury goods industry. Elijah is a graduate of Columbia College, Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Affairs and Columbia Business School.

Jonathan Hakakian joined SoundBoard Consulting Group LLC, in early 2010 after working in the construction industry, rising to the level of project manager. His entrepreneurial passions started early, having grown up in a retail, family business and playing a role in the growth and success of the company. In 2006 Jonathan partnered in founding a consultancy that helped bridge the gap between baby boomer business owners and the burgeoning Gen-Y population entering the workforce. The firm also project managed outsourced global resources for the benefit of its domestic clients.
During his tenure at SoundBoard Consulting, Jonathan supported a core group of clients in their process to uncover early-stage and start-up investment opportunities. As Co-Founder of SoundBoard Ventures, Jonathan coaches “new” entrepreneurs as they build out their business plans, prototype their products & services, and need a point of accountability to support building momentum in their ventures.
Jonathan graduated from the George Washington University, with a degree in Business Administration concentrating in Finance. Prior to Co-Founding Fundamental Financial, Mr. Haddock was a Partner & Managing Director with the global merchant banking firm Greenhill & Co. (NYSE: GHL). During his career he has advised on over $75 billion of capital raising, financing and merger transactions.

Before forming Silas Capital, Mr. Weiss co-founded Built NY, Inc. in mid 2003, and for 6 ½ years as CEO grew the company into an internationally recognized and highly profitable consumer products brand, taking sales from zero to approximately $30 million. Mr. Weiss oversaw the creation of the BUILT brand, steadily building and enhancing the company’s position in the marketplace with a distinctive brand strategy and product identity. Under his leadership, Mr. Weiss grew the BUILT brand to what it is today, selling in over 50 countries around the world at retailers including Amazon, Apple, Best Buy, MoMA and Target. Prior to his role as CEO of Built NY, Mr. Weiss spent 7 years as a venture capitalist. He was previously a member of the corporate venture capital fund Hollinger Capital, where he made successful investments in consumer internet companies such as Shopping.com (IPO in 2004). Before Hollinger, he was an Associate at venture capital firm Cornerstone Resources and a M&A analyst at CIS Corporation. Mr. Weiss began his financial career at World Marketing Inc, a Trans World Airlines holding company, where he held various accounting positions. Mr. Weiss graduated with a B.A. in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University.
