World Peace Orchestra Inaugural Music for Peace Concert

The newly-created nonprofit organization, World Peace Orchestra is putting that in to action when it holds a concert at the Lincoln Center. The organization will bring together more than 100 students from over 75 countries (including Iraq, Kosovo, Uganda, and Ethiopia) most of whom will be making their first trip to the US to perform in this inaugural concert. The musicians will be led by guest Lithuanian conductor Gintaras Rinkevičius and be joined by world renowned violinist Alexander Markov.
