Exhibition: Painting to Survive - The Work of David Friedman

Thursday, Jun 6, 2013 6:00p

The German Consulate General commemorates the late Jewish artist and Auschwitz survivor David Friedman(n) in the first exhibition of its kind representing works from prewar Berlin to Prague, Israel, and the United States. The Berlin artist was banned from his profession, driven from his home, his family perished, his life's works looted, but his art would not be silenced.

Opening Reception June 6, 2013 at 6pm, free admission RSVP only via http://davidfriedman.eventbrite.com/
