What Sci-Fi Can Teach Us About Gestures

Monday, May 20, 2013 6:30p to 8:30p
WeWork 8th Floor New York, NY

As part of Internet Week New York, NUI Central - NY/NJ will present "What Sci-Fi Can Teach Us About Gestures". Sci-fi movies, such as, Minority Report and Iron Man, are leading the public conception of what gestures mean for our audiences as users and ourselves as designers, and we should examine that carefully before we accept it as what's best. Christopher Noessel, co-author of the book Make It So: Interaction Design Lessons from Sci-Fi, will be leading the interactive presentation.
