Elinor Frey plays some of the most original and celebrated baroque works for the cello, by Italian composer-cellists in late-seventeenth century Modena (before Bach composed his famous Suites) – Vitali, Colombi, Galli and Gabrielli – and early-eighteenth century cellists Dall’Abaco, Supriano, and Ruvo.
