Join us 6-9 pm Thursday, February 28 at Gallery 151 (132 w 18th st, btwn 7&6 ave) for the opening reception of Samuel Stabler: A Long Way From Dixie. Featuring a dozen works on paper, the show will be divided between acidic, highlighter cadmium yellow remixes of Master paintings and rigorous cutouts that grow from a layered collage technique. At the core of both projects is a love affair with images, inviting new and exciting views into the vast history of Western images.
