Public Lecture & Stargazing

"Galactic Neighborhoods: How galaxies are influenced by their surroundings", a talk by Prof. Jacqueline van Gorkom

This is a FREE event followed by guided star-gazing with telescopes (weather permitting). All events are at Pupin Hall on the Columbia University campus - street access from 116th and Broadway, Subway Number 1 Line). No reservations are needed. Lectures are 30 minutes, stargazing lasts 90 minutes. Lectures are wheelchair accessible, star-gazing on the roof is not.
