Socrates in the City hosts a rousing debate: Godforsaken? A Debate on God, Evil & Suffering. If God is omnipotent and all good, why does he permit evil and suffering in the world? Dinesh D’Souza, author of the upcoming Godforsaken, and President of NYC’s The King’s College will debate best-selling author Bart Ehrman, a former Christian turned scholar and atheist. D’Souza and Ehrman will present their arguments and bring fresh, rival perspectives to this age old question.
