The Juilliard School announces the winners of the School's Vocal Arts Honors for 2011-2012, tenor Kyle Bielfield and baritone Takaoki Onishi, to be presented in the winners' duo-recital.
Pianist Lachlan Glen accompanies Mr. Bielfield in songs by Francis Poulenc, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Ned Rorem, and Richard Strauss. Pianist Nozomi Marusawa accompanies Mr. Onishi who perform songs by Japanese composers Yoshinao Nakada and Saburo Takada, Maurice Ravel, and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.
