"Slamming Stories" NYC Storytelling Slam - $50 1st Place Prize!

The Inspired Word performance series presents our Slamming Stories storytelling slam, hosted by actor/comedian Erica Bradshaw.
 
So if you think you're a great storyteller, here's your chance to prove it. And if you're the best of the night, you get a sweet $50 + a free drink!
 
Should be a blast!
 
Here's the way the night will work:
 
There will be one round, 25 slots. The slots will be determined on a first come-first serve basis.
 
Guidelines: Your story must be original. It must be true. And… Show more it must be five minutes or less.
 
A full point will be subtrracted from the cumulative score if the storyteller goes over the five-minute time limit by more than 10 seconds.
 
Each storyteller will be judged by five judges. The storyteller's high and low score will be dropped and the middle three will be added together for the finishing score.
The highest score at the end of the night gets 50 bucks and a free drink (non-alcoholic if under 21).
