These lively Grammy nominees play Mexican folk music on traditional instruments—but they also play Bach and Led Zeppelin! “We are not necessarily preservationists in trying to pretend that we live in a small village in Mexico,” says the group. “We live in Chicago and interact with the world around us.” In doing that, they have a surprising amount of fun.
