Marlene's Place

Marlene's is a premier music venue.
The large stage is approximately 15' deep by 20' wide. It is elevated 16" off the floor. There is a large dance area in front of the stage.
Marlene's also has six professional Brunswick 4' x 8' pool tables. All of the tables have been re-conditioned 2 months ago and they are in immaculate condition and precisely level.
The sound system consists of the following equipment JBL SF22 powered subs, JBL MP225 high pack, QSC 2450 & 1450 amps, DBX equalizer x2, 10 microphones and stands and a couple direct boxes, 2 JBL stage monitors and 24 channel mixing board. There is also a 16 channel light dimmer control console. Enough equipment to blow a hole in the planet.
There is a VIP room with private bar that when not rented out for private parties is used as the bands and performers green room.
The interior design is, well, I don't know what to say about it. It is definitely eclectic. The stage sets it off as a music venue, but then the pool tables and it's size remind you of a pool hall. And then you get hit with the weird lighting, odd art, faces, and tables set up on manikin legs. A lot of red and a lot of black. A lot of voodoo art. Oh and did I forget the American flag on the ceiling? What's that about? You really need to see it for yourself. Maybe you can explain it to me.
