Named for the statue of its primary resident, the Pilgrim, this knoll descends gently downward toward the Central Park
Conservatory Water and is a favorite space for those who enjoy the serenity of a hillside setting. There with the distant white sails of small boats streaking across the water, they can throw down a blanket or lean against a tree and contemplate the view or they can just read and relax. With its proximity to Fifth Avenue and 72nd Street dog owners and dog walkers are frequent visitors to this spot.
