Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, recognized by U.S. Congress as a vital American “Cultural Ambassador to the World,” returns to NY City Center for a season celebrating Judith Jamison's 20th year as Artistic Director. Throughout the December season, which has become a joyous holiday tradition, Ailey’s extraordinary artists will move audiences with over 40 ballets by 20 choreographers, including world and Company premieres and tributes to Ms. Jamison.
