Tad Gormley Stadium

Tad Gormley Stadium brings a special dimension of versatility to the City's event staging capabilities. It's the perfect site for a broad range of outdoor athletic competitions, entertainment and corporate special events.

Home of the 1992 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trails and terminus of the Crescent City Classic race, the Stadium is a 26,500 permanent seat facility consisting of a 400 meter internationally marked polyurethane track, natural turf football or soccer field, three locker rooms, press box with seating for 110, press suite with seating for 40, and electronic scoreboard and sound system.

In addition to sporting events, Tad Gormley has hosted numerous performing artists including the Beatles, Rolling Stones and Jimmy Buffet.

Adjacent to the Stadium is the 400-meter, polyurethane City Park Track.
