The pipe organ was designed to capture the full range of sounds in an orchestra, and few organists understand that as well as Thomas Murray. University organist and professor of music at Yale University, he’s acclaimed for his interpretations of Romantic repertoire and his orchestral transcriptions. Murray’s awards and accolades include the American Guild of Organists’ International Artist of the Year and recognition as an honorary fellow of England’s Royal College of Organists.
