In commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812, the Tennessee Historical Society and MTSU's Center for Historic Preservation are hosting a War of 1812 Bicentennial Symposium titled "The Beginning:The War of 1812, the Atlantic World, and Tennessee."
