Copland captured the soul of the nation in his music and his Symphony No. 3 incorporates his famous Fanfare for the Common Man. In between these two pieces Angela Hewitt joins the orchestra to perform Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20 one of the composer's most dramatic works and one of only two he wrote in a minor key.
