This Igor Stravinsky double-bill will present Rite of Spring and Firebird for the first time with live music from The Nashville Symphony Orchestra. Inspired by primitive fertility rites, Rite of Spring illustrates the awakening of human desire through its percussive score, provocative costumes and tribal choreography.
In Firebird, an other-worldly being, whose origin is left to interpretation, meets a human man and teaches him about love in all of its forms.
