What is the LEED AP Exam? The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) Exam was launched in 2001 by the Washington-based nonprofit, US Green Building Council. It is a two-hour test, soon to be a four-hour test, of your knowledge about green building and construction, the LEED Documentation Process and LEED Certification Strategies. Today 75,000 professionals use the title LEED AP to certify that they know how to steward the LEED green-building certification process, now the national standard. The test is administered by a third party, Prometric. CleanEdison offers a detailed course of study to prepare for their test.
