Valentines day MIG welding. Lunch for two

 
 
Nothing says commitment like fusing metal together with an electric arc.  Spend the day with the one that you love doing something truly memorable.  Surprise them with a day at Make It Labs.  You and your Valentine will come in and learn how to make sparks heat like no other date you have ever been on.  10,000 degrees celsius to be exact.  After a brief safety and theory discussion, you will head over as a couple to the plasma cnc where you will cut out parts to make a customized wine… Show more bottle holder (other projects possible).  You will then work together to prepare the material for welding.  You will take a break for lunch from a local nashua downtown restaurant.  At your secluded workbench you will then practice Mig welding as you bond metal and build your own bond at the same time.  When finished, you will sandblast the project and bring it to the oven for powder coating.   Objectives of this workshop. -go through the accelerated process of cnc plasma cut > weld > powder coat -enjoy a relaxing day with your valentine with lunch and a drink. -take home a memory and skill. This is meant to be a gift from you to your valentine.  What better way to show someone how special they are to you by making something with them.  Some prep work is recommended for greatest effect.  MakeIt Labs can be hard to find.  Before the day of, you should familiarize yourself with the area.  Stop by so you don’t look lost while wooing your loved one.  A receiving timeframe will be available on the evening prior where it is recommended you drop off candy, flowers, wine, a card, or any combination of these items.  Providing all of these items will yield a better result.  At Make It Labs the traditional gift is a pair of  matching Leatherman's with a loving inscription.   Prior to the event you will choose a meal for you and your loved one to be delivered mid day.  You will also get a choice of projects with some mild customization.  Any special requests will be handled on a case by case basis.   Please make sure you and your loved one wear proper footwear.  Long sleeve shirt and long pants are necessary.   Rob Masek has worked for 10 years in engineering related fields teaching CAD, 3D printing, Reverse Engineering, CAM.  He has extensive experience with robotics and mechanical devices.
