I am going to this show this Friday .. I'm pretty excited. I just got into this band recently ... I hope they play I ain't ever satisfied it's my favorite. I've seen them once live before and it was that show that really made me a fan. They're amazing live. G.E. Smith is the man ...

Eating Crowe

The vibe was just not there. I'm sure Ed and Marc are glad to know that the Crowes are seriously hurting without them. Neither Chris or Rich seemed "on". Luther's guitar solos just were not good friends. I've seen this band all over the country over the last 20 years almost and never have been let down until towards the end of last year for the first time. I gave them one more chance & regret it. I heard a lot of people saying stuff like "they should bring back Marc" I would hate to see that with his solo/producing career really starting to blossom like it is. Believe me, the Crowes are missing that old chemistry. Sorry guys.

Great live performer

I saw Matt Nathanson perform a few years ago out in Boston and had a really good time. He's got a great voice and is really funny to boot. His banter with the audience and the way he got people singing along were both a lot of fun. One of the few performers I prefer live to recorded.

Feb 26, 2008 - Zombie Chow on Caked Up
Potato Chip for the Brain...

Cake is what happens when a no talent act gets absorbed into the mindless droves of pot smoking teenagers whose aural depth extends only one knuckle deep in their ear canal... Cake's bland slow monotonal drone appeals to the masses due to its sheer simplicity.

I hear Cake's music and take note its popularity, I cringe a little knowing that the cult that fosters their existence is large enough to sustain them.

If singing about nothing is the new wave of music, we're doomed. I find more meaning in nursery rhymes...
Then again, maybe I just don't "get it". It's all subjective right? Maybe I just don't smoke my body weight in miscellaneous drugs and replace my liquid content with an equal amount of alcohol to "get it"...

Well my little mindless Cakeheads, enjoy filling the pockets of those record companies! It's what you're there for!

These guys have an amazing stage show.

I saw them a couple days before New Years '07. It was wonderful, they had a new years countdown for us since we weren't gonna be at the new years show, lots of beautiful music, confetti - the works.

Also, the lighting system is a giant UFO, and the lead singer enters the stage in a giant balloon freedom ball thing! They win the universe.
