Out of the Woods: Sculpture by Freeland Tanner

This winter we are featuring a range of sculptural work by Napa native, Freeland Tanner. Inspired by natural patterns, tramp art, Black Forest design and Baroque ornament, Freeland’s work is both whimsically enchanting and technically fascinating. It showcases his extreme attention to detail, playful interpretation of history, and a lifetime of collected flower frogs, sprinkler heads, shovels, rakes and trellises.
