One of the most popular works in the operatic repertoire, Ball State Opera Theatre is proud to present L'elisir d'amore by Gaetano Donizetti on April 5 & 7, 2013 in Emens Auditorium.
Set in the old west, Nemorino, the town's smithy and wainwright, is hopelessly in love with the rich bank owner, Adina, who doesn't even know he exists. When a traveling snake oil salesman comes to town and sells Nemorino a magic love potion, the results are hilarious and touching.
