Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium
Magic flows freely through the walls and toys within the Wonder Emporium. But when Mr. Magorium (Dustin Hoffman), the store's 243-year-old proprietor, decides to turn the reins over to his manager Molly Mahoney (Natalie Portman), mysterious changes creep over the Emporium. Molly and Henry (Jason Bateman), an accountant, must discover the magic within themselves if they are ever to revive the now-quiet toys.

movie was ok , i would have to give it a 4 on a scale from 1-10 . not real sure of the meaning of the movie . if it was fantasy or a girl meets boy movie
The movie we were expecting was light-hearted and fun and we just didn't really enjoy this one. This movie gave us no reason to become involved and we just didn't understand Dustin Hoffmans' strange accent/lisp or even care that he was 243 years old. I am a Hoffman fan and that would be the only reason to see this film. Major disappointment

"Mr. Magorium" is all about the power of believing. It's the story of possibility, and while it may seem to be a story about endings, it is, in fact, a story about beginnings. And it's a story that captures the season.
