As the Death Eaters wreak havoc in both Muggle and wizard worlds, Hogwarts is no longer a safe haven for its students. Though Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) suspects there are new dangers lurking within the castle walls, Dumbledore is more intent than ever on preparing the young wizard for the final battle. Meanwhile, teenage hormones run rampant through Hogwarts, presenting a different sort of danger to the students. Love may be in the air, but tragedy looms, and Hogwarts may never again be the same.

Ok well i really liked it! it was funny and very romantic but between harry and ginny in the move it was WAY to mushy!! in the books it was not at ALL like that! apart from that it was good!! i REALLY LOVED the part where Harry says " She has nice skin!" Loved that!! the prologue was very like the book which i am happy about!! i really love the books but the movies for me have been kinda disappointing the first three where good the 4th one was ok the 5th one was horrible!! but this one the 6th one was better then the rest!! it is now my new favorite!

My daughter(17) and I were bored to death with this movie. We are Harry Potter fans, but this one almost put us to sleep.

I am a huge Harry Potter fan. I liked the way the movie moved the story along and did not become too bogged down. Also, it showed another side of Hermoine. So far, I have seen it three times.

Idk I am really getting tired of all these folks that rag on a movie because "It's not as good as the book". They're just different. A movie gives you vivid imagery, whereas a book allows you to create the image, neither is better than the other... They're just different.
That being said this was a good MOVIE. And I enjoyed THE MOVIE. It was a well crafted piece. I was never bored even through some of the more "Teenish" moments. I always worry with movies like this, when they are in a long series, they start to get "cheap". So far, the Harry Potter series has been pretty quality all the way through.
I just wished they released it in the winter time, Harry Potter was always more interesting around the holidays for some reason.

I was hoping to be amazed, but I wasn't. The most significant part of the book wasn't as emotional or impressive in the movie. I cried when I read the book, but I didn't feel a thing when I watched the movie.
Most of the movie is spent covering the love triangles/relationships so I thought the ending attempted to cover the real purpose of the movie and everything seemed rushed.
Oh well, the next and last two movies should be epic.

I have read all the books and seen all the movies and I believe this one was great. I give it four stars and a half. Remember that a film cannot be as long as a book. Special effects and the way characters are played are great too.

Loved the movie, great special effects, funny in places, exciting in others, sad ( made me cry) in others.

My son and I have seen all of the Harry Potter Movies and loved everyone but this one. very Disappointing. We felt like all they did was set you up for the next movie. It felt like reading just the first two chapters of a book and then you are left waiting. For the price of movies today I would wait and rent this one and save yourself the expense of the big screen.
