Eye opening

I found this movie to be of great quality and entertaining. What I found most interesting is how science has taken the position over the years that instead of using science to prove theory they simply ask us to base their theory on a certain amount of faith! The very thing that they detest about religion is what they ask people to do.

Science, schmiance, huh?

The only problem with this movie is its basic premise - if science can't definitively prove it 100%, then it must be magic - and that proves God did it!!
Here's the reality - science can't yet prove everything to 100%, and that leftover 0.1% does NOT prove it's some magical supernatural being, it just means there's still some questions to be answered. It's okay to have faith in the supernatural, but in your day to day life, it's science that rules.

I was astonished at the quality of this documentary. I took my whole family and recommended it to several friends. This is too important an issue to have it relegated to the dark alleys of intellectual thought. Everyone needs to see this film to gain an understanding of how close we are to repeating mistakes of the past by giving new names to old ideas. You don't have to believe in God to know that science based on self arising molecules from Crystals or little green men is wholey inadequate as an explaination for life on our planet. What scares me is to see leading scientists with no intention of maintaining an open mind to any theory other than what is commonly accepted. Great film! A must see for anyone who cares about our future!

MINDBLOWING, COOL MOVIE! MUST SEE FOR EVERYONE! I ESPECIALLY LOVED THE STYLE OF THE FILM. THE CREAM OF THE CROP SCIENTISTS HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO ANSWERS EXCEPT FOR ICE CRYSTALS AND MARTIANS FOR HOW WE GOT HERE. IN THEIR OWN WORDS, THEY HAVE NO IDEA. ESPECIALLY GREAT AT THE END WAS TOP SCIENTIST DAWKINS WHO WROTE THE GOD DELUSION. DAWKINS, AFTER FIRMING SAYING HE BELIEVES IN NO GOD OR GODS, SAYS "THERE IS INTELLIGENT DESIGN." COOL, COOL MOVIE!!!!

This film was excellent. Very well made. The content was very relevant. Interviewing real people was very instrumental in making the public aware of major differences in worldviews about crucial issues that greatly influence people's lives and belief systems, and that can have a a major impact in society

I was glad that intelligence was allowed in the release of this movie.

I give it a 5 star, and hope that the movie will continue to be shown.

Best twenty bucks I've spent in a long time. Powerful movie. Surprised by how much time Ben gave his opponents to talk. Some of the reviews I read seem ridiculous after seeing the movie myself.

No LOGIC was allowed in this movie.

This movie can best be described as a conservitive Micheal Moore film. Ben Stien obviously only chooses the answers for questions that he wants to hear. He claims that the media is biased against inteligent design, and there may be some truth to that. However, the response to this should not be to make your own extremely biased movie. This "documentary" throws out too many facts to count, and states questions that have been answered by the theory of evolution, even though he says they were not. Many of the questions were answered in my ancient 1954 encyclopedia. The next time Ben Stien makes a movie, he should get his facts straight first. (I feel this way about Micheal Moore films as well.)

Ben Stein's quest demonstrates today's need for Intellectual Honesty in the field of science and in our educational institutions.
This film is soberly informative of a climate in
laboratories and in class rooms.
Academic freedom is sold out to institutional bureaucracy when legitimate questions are suppressed by a narrow minded bias.
EXPELLED opens our eyes to healthy
progress beyond Darwinist hypotheses.
For open minded Americans this movie kindles
renewed vigilance about our privileged heritage.
Go see and think for yourself.
Rits.
