Though London awaits the joyful arrival of Christmas, miserly Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey) thinks it's all humbug, berating his faithful clerk and cheerful nephew for their view. Later, Scrooge encounters the ghost of his late business partner, who warns that three spirits will visit him this night. The ghosts take Scrooge on a journey through his past, present and future in the hope of transforming his bitterness.

We were so excited to go to this movie and what a disappointment! My 8 year old covered his eyes almost the whole movie and my 10 year old was bored to death. They are disgusted we wasted our money on this. Definitely not the Christmas movie of the year!

This was the worst movie I have ever seen! I have seen man versions of A Christmas Story and this one was horrible. They did not get the meaning of this movie across at all. I took 3 kids to this movie and 2 other adults and we left and I asked the kids if they got what that was about and they said "no" The use of all the old english.. I couldn't even understand it..NOT a movie to take kids to what so ever. Also the movie was so dark that it didn't look 3D, just very blurry like my glasses were dirty. When he was flying through the air or out on the street it look 3D Though. We thought it was going to be a good movie since I love the story
A Christmas Carol and very disappointed that we spent $46 to get in and another $25 on snacks..what a waste! As for the theater they need to get child size glasses.. these glasses did not even fit the 8 year old I took and a little big for my face as well. My 3 kids had to hold up their glasses. I will be telling anyone and everyone I know NOT to see this movie.

The movie followed Charles Dickens' story very well indeed. The computer 3-D animation was not over done thus making it very enjoyable. The only thing critical I have to say would be the narrated ending by Bob Cratchet. Instead the omitted scene in the end with the Cratchet family would have been beter. How can you go wrong with a Disney movie. If only Walt could see his dreams comming true today.

Though we are on a much tighter budget these days, I'm glad we splurged a bit and took my grandkids (8 and 10) to see this. It was very worthwhile. Disney did a great job with this classic, though I think some kids would be frightened by the creepier scenes. We would definitely all go again.
