Almost immediately, the tiny tunesmiths get the giant task of saving their school's music program by winning a battle-of-the-bands contest. Though the boys think winning it will be easy, romantic and musical sparks fly when they meet Brittany, Eleanor and Jeannette -- also known as The Chipettes.

GREAT MOVIE FOR KIDS AND EVEN FOR THOSE ADULTS WHO HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR. I ENJOYED IT AND SO DID MY 4 YR OLD GRANDSON.
THERE'S WAS LOTS OF KIDS HIS AGE THERE WITH THEIR PARENTS AND EVEN YOUNGER.
IT WAS WELL WORTH THE DAY,TIME,& MONEY !

If you have to see one animated singing chipmunks movie this year, then this is the one! If you are over 10 and aren't bringing a child to see this movie, you have no business being there. This is a kid's movie. As with all children's movies, nothing here really makes a ton of sense, which is not a fault when you consider it is a movie starring talking chipmunks.
Nothing deep will happen in this movie. It is not a cinematic masterpiece and the animation is kinda bland, as the chipmunks have bit of a plastic sheen to them at all times. If you have a small child who enjoys movies with singing in them, this should suffice though.

I took my boyfriends sister to go see this movie and it was really good. I was impressed because they have really played to many parts of it on tv. However she really enjoyed the movie and it was funny for adults as well. Good bonding time.
