An idea from a young, new co-worker (Anna Kendrick) would put an end to the constant travel of corporate downsizer Ryan Bingham (George Clooney), so he takes her on a tour to demonstrate the importance of face-to-face meetings with those they must fire. While mentoring his colleague, he arranges hookups with another frequent-flier (Vera Farmiga), and his developing feelings for the woman prompt him to see others in a new light.

Far more deep than I expected. George Clooney did an outstanding job! I'm positive teens and 20 somethings with not get the full impact of this movie. Not even sure individuals in their early 30s will truly appreciate the weight of this movie. It was a pretty fair reflection of ...the climate in our world right now. Enjoyed it; it's just more serious than I expected.

Movie stinks, goes from no where to no where.

This movie is not portrayed accurately in the trailers and it is not a comedy. There are some funny parts but it has a an effective dark side that caught me completely off-guard. If cinema is intended to help us experince situations and feelings that extend beyong on lives, then this movie gets an A+ for accomplishing that goal. Just don't go into the theater thinking it is uplifting and funny. Instead, you'll leave with a new found sympathy for the characters and the people whose's lives they change.

Lots of dialog, but completely misses action. Depressing movie but the storyline itself is kind of interesting and may something to think about. It surely shows how lonely one can be. Alltogether the movie lacks action and does not deliver any great pictures what you should expect when going to the movies. Here you could have just read the story, nothing worth watching.

This was the most boring movie we have seen in a long time. There were 12 of us for New Years watching this and some fell asleep, so don't waste your money. Very depressing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A very depressing movie...especially if you have lost your job. Definitely not a feel good movie, very little humor about a man who spends his time firing people. Recommend not seeing movie you could do way better than this.
