On a lush planet called Pandora live the Na'vi, beings who appear primitive but actually are highly evolved. Because Pandora's environment is poisonous, human/Na'vi hybrids, called Avatars, are linked to human minds, allowing for free movement on Pandora. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a paralyzed former Marine, becomes whole again through one such Avatar, and falls in love with a Na'vi woman (Zoe Saldana). As his bond with her grows, he is drawn into a battle for the survival of her world.

Can't say enough about this movie. Well worth seeing - the story line is almost as good as the special effects. Yes, the military is seen in a negative light, but that is because of corrupt leadership. A lesson in history, you would think mankind would learn, but sadly never has.

Loved it! The only thing we didn't like is the VOLUME!!! We both came out with headaches! Felt sorry for little kids.
Yeah the storyline was predicable,
but so are a lot of other movies today. The special effects and colors were absolutely beautiful.
Who would want to watch this WITHOUT
the 3D is beyond me.
Just beautiful!

If you're interested in seeing what the technology can do, this movie is the current benchmark. I also have to take issue with Mr. Strunzo's previous post. The movie does not depict "our" military as anything. The bad guys in the movie were hired mercenaries working for an all-powerful corporation. I guess these days some people can no longer tell the difference. Pay closer attention next time.

Movie presence and special effects were excellant. The movie was long but hardly noticeable when I fell asleep. The actors were very good. I did not like how they depicted our military as being evil. However isn't it typical of the liberal hollywood frame of mind.

This movie is Awsome! Incredible! The storyline is interesting. The effects are Outstanding! The acting is perfect! I could see this movie over and over and notice something new each time. It's indescribable - A moving work of art!
For those leery because of the media hype of the movie making you sick... I had no problem whatsoever and I suffer from motion sickness.
Take a chance, you will not regret it!
