This movie was an action filled movie with great actors and actresses! I went to see it with my boyfriend and i was on the edge of my seat the whole time! It was great and i recommend seeing this movie! Great job producers!

The old cars and the 'sepia effect' made it seem pretty authentic, but the 'story line' left me confused for much of the time. At the end, I didn't care - and was glad to get out of the cinema and go for a good meal with my equally disappointed, dear wife.

The film was amazing, let me say that outright. The cast was chosen well, there were very few lulls in the story, some of the scenes made you laugh want to high five whomever is closest to you (but you wouldn't because that's embarrassing) and I felt like a little kid who wanted to be a mobster when the film had finished.
What captivated my interests had to have been how well it was filmed. I am a sucker for brilliant cinematography, and this film was brimming with it. The lighting was spectacular, the guns and explosions sounded realistic, sound distances were recorded rather well and the film score was both prominent and fitting.
The film felt like it could have used more drama. I didn't feel worried for any of the characters throughout the film. Maybe I was too caught up in the selling points, but it felt like that was lacking. Be that as it may, go see this film in theaters if you get the chance.

To have a pretty boy like Johny Depp in this movie is one thing, to frame him with the most obscure cast really makes him stand out as the charismatic John Dillinger. Everyone else looked, well... wierd... But in a good way, they actors looked like real people, not a smattering of heart throbs only there to be hyper emotional and shallow like 99% of whats in the movies these days.
The sets were all cut right out of the past. I really don't know if they just built the sets like the old days of really happen to find these small towns that never aged. It really was nice to see good old incandescent, and natural light used in a movie. The entire movie was also filmed in hand, it gave an old movie feel like before boom cameras, dollies and helicopters with scene cuts every 3 seconds to keep the audience hypnotized....
All in all a very successful movie. Good plot, amazing cast, extremely superb cinematography, lighting, and flow. All with an olde time feel that was as much a character as any of the actors were playing.
