Hollow Triumph

After a botched attempt to rob an illegal gambling ring, ex-con John Muller (Paul Henreid) hides out from the gangsters on his tail. When Muller realizes that he looks just like local psychologist Dr. Bartok (also Henreid), he decides to make the doctor's life his permanent hiding place. Muller seduces Bartok's assistant and mistress, Evelyn (Joan Bennett), and begins to plan the perfect murder. But to become Bartok and get away with it, he'll have to get every detail just right.
