Though a rising star in the ranks of Archer Daniels Midland, Mark Whitacre (Matt Damon) suddenly exposes a price-fixing conspiracy to the FBI, agreeing to wear a wire and gather evidence against ADM and other agribusinesses. However, the FBI agents get a rude surprise when they learn that Whitacre has embezzled heavily from the firm.

I believe this would be better classified as a documentary. The main character would tell a story, then change his story, then change it again. He is a good example of a bipolar disorder if you are unclear about how the thinking goes, this will clear that up. Out of the clear blue sky, he would start thinking about Polar Bears. I liked his ditzy, supportive wife, though. I was expecting something along the lines of Ocean's Eleven. Best parts are in the the previews. I really wanted to like this movie.

Mark Damon (who?) plays a character who seemingly cannot tell the truth.
The whole film was pathetic and a real waste of our time!

This movie is very good. Matt Damon goes up in my estimation. Yes, the trailer, brilliant, is light and bright. The movie, though, without doing a Michael Moore, is true to the really whacky world that brings us half the stuff on our grocery shelves.

I usually like Matt Damon's work, but this movie seemed disjointed and was not exactly what I would expect from him.
