AMAZING, but.........

the movie was AMAZING, but it skipped one of my favorite scenes in the book. The scene with Bella in Bio class on the day they have blood testing. I was really excited for the movie because I thought that scene would be in it. It showed how Edward was strong and sweet. It also showed that Mike was a bit jealous of Edward. Other than that, if you purchased the movie and watched the deleted scenes, one of the deleted scenes is right after Bella wakes up from: "That was the first night that I had dreamed of Edward Cullen. When he is "in the room with her" (in her dream) she pulls him closer and they start making out...it was kinda creepy...
Other than that, for all you Edward lovers out there, EMMETT IS THE BEST!

OUTStANDING, This movie is summed up with one word HOTT! A very mondern day love story between to star crossed lovers, Edward is totally handsome, so is Jasper, and Emmett, and Dr.Cullen. Bella is just like any ordinary 17 year old girl and that's what makes the movie, we all relate to Bella's character. I have watched the movie 7 times.... I can't waite until New Moon comes out.... #1 Twilight Fan!!!

Not Sure

I have had the book for two day and have read it two times. I LOOOOOOVE it and I can't put it down or get it out of my head. I am scared to see the movie I am not sure if it will let me down the way the book talks of Edward I am not sure if he will look the way I want and if he will live up to the image that is in my mind I have seen who they cast but still I can't say till I see him act it. I will let u know

Left out

The movie was good but they did leave out some very important information and they did add a few things that didn't happen in the books. I think it could have been better but it was not a total disappoinment. But the whole point of the movie was Edward and Bella ending up together and falling in love. That's what happened in the book. But the books are by far alot better. So read them if you get a chance you will be sucked into them.

I'm just went out to watch the movie and i am extremely disappointed. this movie is lacking details from the book with many scenes that are all wrong. I think that if we had people who would rate things for what they are and not frilly little thing's like the real movie review which by the way was lying. THIS MOVIE IS A UBER CHICK FLICK AND IT STANK.

ome[oh my edward].i dont even know where to start.it couldnt have been better!!!!!i wanted to read the series but i thought they were too long and i didnt have time but after i saw the movie i had t make time!!it is a great movie for young teens and stephanie meyer has done a wonderful job with the books. they are so good you feel like you actually ARE the character and experiencing what they are!i am currently on the 3rd book, elcipse. I cant wait until the other books come out as movies!!!! i saw twilight the first day it came out with one of my friends and im going to see it again this friday with my other friend! i wish i would have been able to see it like 5 million times lol. i am obsessed with this series, the first time i ever was and i dont want it to end. catherine hardwicke did a wonderful job as well with the movie and picked the PERFECT casting!! i would say if you see the movie first you would probably like it better like i did because you won't know what they left out until you read it. still, it is thee awesomest bestest movie everr and like they say you can 'really sink your teeth into it!!!'

I loved it!

I am in my early twenties and have read some of the books am about to start the last one. First I love the books,Once you start to read them its hard to put them down. Granted there are a couple parts in the movie that werent like the book and vice versa but overall I thought it was REALLY good I have watched it a couple times. There are a couple things I dont care for. Like the fact in the book this takes place over a couple months until he says after coming through her window in her room "just the last couple months" it seems like its over a period of a couple weeks. She is around her friends a little more in the book also you get to know them a little better. Her and Alice talk more I think they talked twice in the movie. Theres some more but those are just off the top of my head.

Read before you go see

If you have not read the book, don't go and see the movie. While the movie was just "okay", the books are great. This movie felt cheaply made, both in special effects and in the acting. I am not a fan of Kristen Stewart. She is akward and makes the watcher almost uncomfortable. No, I don't think she is such a good actress she did this on purpose because of her character.
The movie cuts at bad times and skips around in the wrong order (in comparison to the book).
If you are a die-hard Twilight fan, you have already seen it but for the rest of you... save your money. Rent it... don't buy! It is worth a REDBOX $1 fee. Not even worth a matinee charge.
Hoping NEW MOON is better!
FYI... Four Christmases is HILARIOUS! That is totally worth full price. Whole theater was cracking up most of the movie.

I have read the books and all my friends went to go see it and they all loved it. Some even went to see it multiple times. However, I was a little let down by it. I just thought it would be so much better. I guess it just didn't live up to expectations, but it was decent. It wasn't bad at all, just could have been better in my opinion. But I hope to see the sequels.

I am truly impressed with this movie. Yes I did read Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. I walked in expecting this to be like other books that turned movie....poor! But it wasn't! It truly had me entertained for the entire 2 hours. Now I see why this book series is selling out! Hurry and finish New Moon movie!

I'm going to see this movie later on today. I haven't read the book, but hear that it is a must see. I came to this site to get the opinions of those who have seen it, but I'm not sure that I can take the advice of those who can't spell! I can make allowances to those under 18, but the mom who says it could be better...you really need to try to graduate high school along with your children before you embarass your self any further!

THE BEST!!!!!!!!!

I just loved this movie. I went to see it the first day it came out. I am seeing it again this week. My favorite quote is when Edward says," I feel very protective over you."

loved it

I went to see this movie with my thirteen year old daughter, and as I write this she is again at the movie. I found it most enjoyable with enough content for the age group it was obviously geared toward - hence the PG13. I heard men stating there was not enough action but I heard dozens upon dozens of young teenagers exclaim how awesome it was, terrific, discussing who was the cutest character....this movie is about young teens and is definitely for young teens therefore to me, a huge success and well worth seeing.

Could of been better

My children ages 16 and 19, along with myself and their friend age 15, went to see this movie Saturday morning. We were so hyped to be totally let down. Granted all the book could not be put into 2 hrs but clearly it could of been better. The scene where Edward shows Bella how he looks in the sunlight was totally wrong from the book. Carlise was so white that he was the shiniest thing on screen. Jasper for a general of a Vampire army was totally to small. The best character that my children and their friend enjoyed was Emmett. This movie is clearly for children ages 7 through 13. For that age group it can be considered a good movie. I recommend that if you haven't read the book, watch the movie first, because you probably will be disappointed if you watch the movie after the book. I also think that Stephanie Meyer could get a better director.

worth the money and lack of sleep

What a great, clean movie to see w/your kids. Although its hard to make a nearly 500 pg book into a 2 hour movie, it was right on w/what they did produce. The characters were perfectly picked, there was a little comedy and romance. My daughter and I went to the midnight movie w/a couple of friends. It was completely worth the money and lack of sleep to see.
