didn't have any idea what was going on, the ending so stupid...it was so hard to follow....the biggest problem was i didn't make any connection with characters, didn't care who succeeds...good visual effects though....

What a stupid movie. The background music was so loud throughout the entire movie that it was difficult to understand the dialogue. The story was so convoluted and confusing it became extremely tiresome. Also, it was about 1/2 hour too long and monotonous.
Who wrote that pap?

I really liked this movie. It might help to read a summary or two to get the idea of what the movie is about before embarking on this adventure. I've really grown to like DiCaprio as an actor and he doesn't disappoint in Inception. I do think the movie was about 20 minutes too long however not sure how they could have shortened it w/o taking away an important piece of the story. I will go see again.

I generally prefer mindless entertainment but this was worth the concentration. This is something I would watch over and over until I was sure I got it all.

Boy, trying to keep up with all that is more than my brain can handle. It was really confusing at first and I had no idea what was going on. Then, I gradually made some sinse of it. Trying to keep up with four or five different lives is mind boggling. It was an 'OK' movie, I guess.

Don't drink too much during this movie, because you won't want to miss a second of it. You can't afford to. Certainly one of the most complex, challenging movies ever to grace a theater, "Inception" is Christopher Nolan's best and twistiest thriller to date. I'm not the world's biggest Leonardo DiCaprio fan, but he does a great job in this movie. The visuals are stunning and the concept is absolutely as high as it gets. I'd see it in IMAX if I were you. It's worth it.

When Did Lenardo DiCaprio grow up and become so good-looking? I thought everyone did an exceptional job acting, the special effects were out of this world. Can't say enough good things. Remember Total Recall? What was the dream, what was the reality?

This is the best movie I've ever seen in recent years. It is an ingenious concept carried out by a staff of fabulous actors. The movie is packed with actions, romance, family plus a visual feast of special effects. A 2D movie with 3D effect minus the annoying glasses and headache.
The plot is very engaging, not a single dull moment. Yet each character is still portrayed to the fullest with such a busy plot. And the ending... Nolan is truly a master. I won't give out any details here, you have to go to the theater and watch it. It is that good.

"Inception" is, in a word, fantastic. Christopher Nolan's decade of work writing the script has paid off with a film that dazzles one with just how smart it is. Everything about the film is breathtaking, and watching it all unfold is a joy to behold.
The mark of brilliant storytelling is in the ability to forgo the usage of narration or spelling things out for the audience, and "Inception" shines in the subtlety of its storytelling. The film treats the audience like we're capable of using our brains, and that's a dangerous thing for a generation that loves nothing more than CGI and explosions. The story is told almost entirely through the powerful subtlety in the acting, the moving soundtrack, and the brilliant cinematography. By the time we're finally into the explosions and violence we understand WHY it's happening, and we care deeply about the characters taking part in it.
A special note: the acting on part of Leonardo DiCaprio and Marion Cotillard is brilliant as always, but the stunner here is truly Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I think most of us remember him from the television series "3rd Rock From The Sun", but the man has grown up and puts forth a powerful supporting performance as Arthur. With the exception of "GI Joe", Gordon-Levitt has chosen to move on to taking serious roles and he has done so in a big way. I look forward to seeing what he can do in the future.
All in all, the film is tremendous. It's definitely not the best film ever created, but I'd be hard-pressed to name a summer blockbuster in the past few years that would be a better choice for your money than this. It's smart, it's subtle, and it's less-than-subtle when it needs to be. It knows exactly when to push and when to pull, and it was pure joy watching it all unfold.

This movie is so packed with everything that I like in a good movie. And I am sure I could come back and give it the last half of the fifth star if I went to see it again. There's so much that went on I'd definitely have to see it a couple times. I'm really glad someone could put together a story with this depth and pull it off. The cast is absolutely amazing, and really work well together.
It's a classic tail of the "Brain in a jar". How do you know if you're dreaming? What happens if you're dreaming that you're dreaming? What happens if you could change someone's deepest memories? If we are who we are because of our memories and dreams, then what kind of ripple effect could be caused by someone interacting with your subconscious? This isn't your usual 'Potato Chip For the Brain' summer movie.
Highly recommend this film.If anything just for the ending.... I haven't had an ending like that since "Delamorte Delamore". The whole audience roared with approval and could not stop talking about it on the way to thier cars.
