When the Reys move into their new Southern California home, little do they realize that the house is already occupied. After coming home one day to find the house in disarray -- but with no signs of forced entry or robbery -- they install a video surveillance system to catch the perpetrators. It's a gag people. A movie, designed to scare you, and sometimes they do that by trying to make it look real, like with The Blair With Project. But, a movie is all it is.

I suppose it would be easy enough to fake the stunts in the movie. After all, the husband made the pool cleaner jump up in the air for a unappreciated joke on his wife.
Now, when I hear a noise in the house, I think about the movie. What was that?
