A professional assassin known only as Agent 47 (Timothy Olyphant) gets caught up in a dangerous political takeover. He flees across Eastern Europe, hoping to find out who set him up and why. However, his growing attachment to a beautiful but traumatized young woman poses as great a threat to his survival as that of the Interpol and Russian agents who are hunting him down.

This movie ROCKS.
It is a little slow in the beginning but that is more than made up for through the body of the film. Its simplicity is the hook. You don't have to take the time to figure out who, what, where, when, or why.... these things are evident.... All you have to do is sit back and enjoy one HOT Film with a very HOT cast.
Worth the money and the time. I will own it as soon as it is available!!!!

Really disappointing.
First, this aka Todd Hamilton (a prior flick), guy is NOT a credible hit man.
Kind of lanky, bit fluff...
Bit short on testosterone to pull this off.
Plot weak.
Dah, the bar code on the back of the head didn't seem to help the hundreds of bad guys following him throughout the movie.
Special effects weak.
Dialogue, cliched..
I gave it two stars cause it's the holidays...
Even a fat Steven Segal or Rutger Hauer, the two balloon boys could've done better.
Super, Peace out.

Alright, so the story and music are basically like Bourne Identity.. but there are some good points to Hitman!
But first, the bad points: The storyline was unstructured and lost everyone. None of the characters really drew you in to the story either. It felt like I was on the sidelines looking through a pair of binoculars trying to figure out if I care or not about 47 (that's the hitman/main character's name).
Good points: For once some mixed action with guns and more guns, physical combat, and knife combat. Bourne mostly did physical hand-to-hand combat, but 47 can do a mix! And another good thing... he doesn't let the woman (who basically strips in front of him) get in the way of his priorities! Wow. Slightly inhuman, but funny. The ending, compared to the lagging beginning, was actually good - a small reward for sitting through the movie.
