Evan Almighty

My fiance and I have seven children between the two of us and took six of them with us to see this movie...It was funny, entertaining, and delivered a message that you dont see in movies much anymore...to have faith not only in God but in family. We felt it was an appropriate movie for all ages and kept even the three year old twins attention. A must see...be ready to laugh but also know that it is set around family values that should be real and true for any family today.

"Evan Almighty" the sequel to "Bruce Almighty" has funny man Steve Carell as a modern day Noah. Don't let the Biblical story fool you this is a funny modern take on the story of Noah's ark and even if you don't know the story you'll understand the message of family togetherness.

There were not as many joke in this one compared to "Bruce Almighty" but that is what made it better in my mind because the joke's were not just thrown in there to make it funnier.

Steve Carell and the rest of the cast did a great job of telling a universal story that applies to all and making it funny.

I saw this movie recently and was pleased to find that although it required some basic understanding of the old testament to already know why some things happen, it doesn't force anything. It makes light of much of the Noah story, but stays serious with the lessons about family. This is definitely a movie to see with your kids, but a group of adults can enjoy it too.

I wouldn't call it the best movie of all time, but it was worth the ticket price, especially to really get a good idea of the magnitude of the Ark being built and it's wild ride.

Make no mistake, this is a film with a biblical story and lessons throughout, but it's nothing people unfamiliar with the story could possibly object to either. It's a fantasy set in the modern stage.
