this movie is funny and cute! the entire family will enjoy it! the title speaks for itself!
My sister saw this and she said it was awsome! She said it was worth about 60 stars.
Good movie, kids and parents both will love it.
I have to admit, I was dreading this for a bit after some of the previous Dr. Suess movies. This one was really well done though. I think the difference had everything to do with keeping the movie done entirely as a cartoon. Alot of the imagery doesn't really carry over to live action very well.
There was alot of humor for both kids and the parents chaperoning them. As a 24 year old, I found it very entertaining.
Inspired animation and story-telling, a must see for Dr. Seuss' fans.
I still prefer Ratatouille though :)
Horton hears a who is a good movie but do not go to it if you hate or never wath tv or cartons you will not like it at all.
It was good but after a while it got really boring.
The anticipation for this movie was equal to peoples' skepticism that the movie would not do well in the theaters since the last Dr. Seuss movie 'The Cat in the Hat' was such a flop but this movie shone as the best Dr. Seuss adaptation to date.
The voice acting by fantastic, the animation fluid(other than the japanese anime portion which by the way was absolutely hilarious)
All around they stuck to the story which is good since its only about a 20 page book so there is no need to cut big chunks out so the movie will fit into a 2 hour time slot.
Jim Carrey was hilarious and I'm pretty sure that some of his parts were purely improv which made this movie even more exciting is that there was humor that adults would enjoy so this is a great movie for the whole family.
The great anticipation of Horton Hears a Who is not to be disappointed. The graphics are amazing, characters well developed and storyline is A+! The story starts off more for kids but developed to where it is entertaining for adults as well. What a great theme that everyone is important, no matter how small. I can just see a sequel coming for the Dr. Seuss' fans!!!
awww I loved this movie. Cute cute cute can't wait to buy it hehehe Palladium was cool
The opening scene from "Horton Hears a Who!" looks so realistic that a viewer could be convinced that he was watching a nature documentary on The Discovery Channel - A shimmery droplet of dew glistens in the light as it trickles down a soft leaf...and subsequently a dramatic sequence of events take place in the wild Jungle of Nool, leading to the introduction of the classic main character: Horton.
The movie, Horton Hears a Who!, is a clever and witty adaptation of Dr. Seuss' children's book. Each of the characters (and boy, there are a lot -- try counting all of the Whos!) are distinct in their personalities -- my personal favorite was the little critter Katie. Her wide eyes and gasping expressions stole the spotlight!
The visuals in the movie are absolutely amazing and the attention to detail is insane! How did they get that fur to look SO real?
Horton is a great movie for both children and adults! I took a 7-year old, who loved it. But my husband, who is a full-grown adult, found it equally amusing and entertaining. It's nice how these animated movies now cater to all ages.
I'd definitely see this movie again!
