Far better than the first Fantastic Four movie.

If you're not already a Fantastic 4 fan and are walking into the story cold, then this movie will seem like a typical trite rehash of "super heroes saving the world" cliche with overwrought special effects, crashes, chases, fights, etc.
On the other hand, if you want to see these particular super heroes and villians come to life on the big screen, then this is a pleasant way to pass an hour and a half.
