May 26, 2014 - slivers on Chef
Extremely Entertaining

Didn't know what to expect, because I hadn't heard anything about CHEF previously, nor knew anything about the star, Jon Favreau.

If it weren't for the constant hardcore swearing (a LOT of the F-word), I'd recommend this movie for anyone ages 13 and up.

It's the story of a divorced man trying to find himself as a chef and as the father of a 10 year old son. The growth he has in the relationship with his son is heartwarming and the level of commitment he has to his work and craft is commendable.

The cast is well-known and the acting is top-notch. When the movie is over, you leave the theatre with a smile and an "all rrright!" And speaking of the end, stay until the credits are over for a real surprise moment.
