Alvin and the Chipmunks
Movie theaters showing Alvin and the Chipmunks near Washington, DC:
Whether you're a Boomer or a Brat, this show has it for you! Great Live/Animation action & who can resist Alvin's antics?? This is a "Must-See" for any age! Take your own candy though, $3 a pack is steep!!
Although I am from the original Chipmunk generation, it was quite enjoyable!
We took our two children to see this movie and they both enjoyed it immensely. There were several instances that my daughter said she wanted to buy the movie and the soundtrack. Definitely a must see movie for the whole family!!!!
My family enjoyed this movie very much. It was very cute and moved along well. My children are 7 & 8yrs old. I was also able to take my 19mo old, who slept the first hour(naptime),then enjoyed the music at the end. The music was entertaining and the dancing chipmunks were hilarious. It was a great family movie.

In this slight, yet musically accurate tribute to the hit group of the '60s cartoon series, director Tim Hill makes clear this squeaky trio was (yes, such broad-appeal acts are pretty much long gone), the ultimate family entertainment. And with some modern funk mixed in with the homespun homilies, this comforting confection once again aims for audiences of all ages. (Full review)
