The Moraga Art Gallery presents a group show,"Celebrate" by Bay Area & Lamorinda artists showing watercolor & oil painting, ceramics, photography, mixedmedia, jewelry & glass.
The Gallery is doubly featuring the work of 2 artists: Terri Durkovic, a jewelry designer following a life-long passion for creating wearable art. Being part of an international family, with relatives spread far and wide, she is constantly collecting semi precious stones, pearls, shells, wood beads and precious metals to include in her designs. Natalia Udaltsova is a painter and artist. She immigrated from Russia in 1996. Natalia loves life and people, and this is reflected in her paintings. Her favorite medium is acrylic. She wants to reveal the beauty of the world and show the excitement and inspiration of life around us. Her recent challenge has been painting portraits and figures. Her work hangs in Massachusetts, Russia, Ukraine, the bay Area, and she has a permanent exhibit in the library at the Division of Research, Kaiser Permanente in Oakland.
The public is invited to the Opening Reception on Saturday, November 1, 2008, from 3-5 pm.
