Moraga Art Gallery presents a new group show,"Earthly Inspirations" by Bay Area & Lamorinda artists showing watercolors, oil painting, ceramics,photography,jewelry and glass.
The Gallery is doubly featuring the work of 2 artists: iIlustrator, Michael Che Swisher. Michael Che has illustrated four children's books. She paints a variety of subjects, but loves painting animals. She is a volunteer wildlife rehabilitator with the Lindsey Museum and Nine Lives Rescue and Adoption. Her artwork has been seen on plates. towels, books and advertising and can be seen on her website: www.ms-gallery.com. Donna Arganbright majored in studio art and has been working in clay since 1972. She tends to make functional ceramics and recently has started to work exclusively in porcelain, experimenting with several new glazes. She creates ceramic baskets, plates, bowls, platter sets, mugs, pitchers and vases in her Lafayette Studio.
The public is invited to the Opening Reception on Saturday, March 22, 2008, from 3-5 pm.
